PDX---2009

Portland was amazing. A trip full of long walks, theatre, art, friends, and fantastic coffee. I can't wait to go back.

Very nice as usual, how do you make the grey tones on the street sketches ?

These are gorgeous, James.....

I love that you made little vignettes of your sketches...they look like little stories in and of themselves.

Very lovely, all of them. Thanks for sharing.

it will be awesome to have some original sketches from your pencil! hope you consider in the future to sell some originals via paypal or maybe doing some artbook or portfolio, european conventions go crazy for this.
anyway keep doing the grat work!

These are fantastic, inspiring. Portland looks like a whole new place, the kind of place everyone needs once in a while. I love your sketches!! Always a pleasure to see how you interpret life as we live it :)

Thanks guys!
Pasto- I just use photoshop over top with a multiply layer. Pretty simple.

Flaviano-Thanks for the idea. I just might do that.

Stevie-Thanks!
